Where they differ
Phaze is the fuller GLP-1 tracker. It suggests your next injection site, draws an estimated medication level, logs 40 side effects with severity, reads meals from photos, barcodes and labels, and makes a PDF report for appointments. Much of that is free, and it runs on Android and Apple Watch as well as iPhone.
Pip Body Scan does one thing Phaze doesn’t: it turns four guided photos into a 3D model of your body once a week, which you can turn, zoom and compare with any earlier check-in. Phaze’s progress photos are flat photos lined up with a ghost overlay, and its body-composition estimate, still in beta, gives a body-fat and muscle figure rather than a 3D body.
Pip’s side-effect log is lighter. Its daily check-in records how you feel, which of nine symptoms you have (or none) and your appetite, with no severity per symptom.
Worth knowing about Phaze
Phaze is young. It reached the App Store in February 2026 and had 43 US ratings when we checked. Its Community, part of Phaze Pro after your first seven days, includes members who are AI characters. Phaze labels their profiles, and one switch hides them.

Questions people ask.
Is Phaze free?
Phaze says dose tracking for your first medicine is free, with the medication level chart, side effects, food search, barcode scans, four progress photos and its PDF report. Phaze Pro adds more medicines, unlimited AI meal logs and photos, body composition and Community after your first seven days.
Does Phaze measure muscle?
Phaze Pro includes Body Composition (Beta), an AI estimate of body fat and muscle from photos that Phaze says has a margin of 3 to 5%. It can also import results from a body-composition scan at a clinic. Pip Body Scan doesn’t estimate muscle.
