02

How we ranked

We put the apps that suggest your next site first, then ordered them by whether that feature is free, whether there’s an Android app and how many US ratings each has. MeAgain leads under that rule, using the dated rating records below; rating counts do not test the quality of a rotation suggestion. GlucoPal and Pip Body Scan keep a record of your sites but, as far as their own sites say, don’t suggest the next one, so they come last.

03

A suggestion is only a record of your pattern

An app’s suggestion follows the pattern you set or the sites you’ve used. It doesn’t know your skin, your medicine’s leaflet or what your nurse told you. Where to inject, and how to rotate, is for your prescriber, nurse or pharmacist to advise. These apps keep track of what you chose.

If you only want a printable chart, Pip’s free injection site rotation planner on this website lays out a weekly map from the Mounjaro, Wegovy, Zepbound and Ozempic leaflets. It doesn’t store anything.

04

What Pip Body Scan does with sites

Pip Body Scan records the site you pick on a front and back body map, shows your last site, and logs any reaction: sore, red, swollen, bruised or other. It doesn’t suggest the next site. Its main job is a weekly 3D body scan, so choose it if you want that as well.

Questions people ask.

Which injection site tracker is free?

MeAgain, Shotsy, Glapp and Phaze include site rotation in their free versions, OptiPin is free for your first compound, and GlucoPal is free. Pip Body Scan needs a membership.

Can I log injection site reactions?

MeAgain has an Injection Site Reaction symptom scored from 0 to 10. OptiPin advertises site-reaction tags with each dose. Pip Body Scan records sore, red, swollen, bruised or other with each shot. We did not find a dedicated reaction field for the other four, though Phaze allows dose notes. Regimen also lists site reactions among its daily markers.
