How does Pip Body Scan track side effects?

Pip Body Scan has a daily check-in called Daily Pulse. You record how you feel on a five-point scale, your appetite and any symptoms, such as nausea, tiredness, headaches, constipation, bloating or heartburn. A chart marks your shot days, so you can see how you feel across each shot cycle.

What Daily Pulse records

A few taps a day. Each check-in sits on the same timeline as your shots, weight and scans.

01

How you feel

Pick one of five levels. It takes a second.

02

Symptoms

Tired, nauseous, headache, constipated, diarrhoea, bloated, heartburn, dizzy or feeling cold. Or none.

03

Appetite

From very low to very high, so you can see how hunger shifts through the week.

04

Site reactions

Each shot can record a reaction at the injection site: sore, red, swollen, bruised or other.

05

Your shot cycle

A chart marks your shot days against how you felt, so you can see the days after a shot.

06

Your pattern

After six or more check-ins across two or more shots, Pip notes which day after a shot you tend to feel lowest.

What Pip won’t do

Pip records. It doesn’t diagnose.

Pip doesn’t diagnose symptoms or say your treatment caused them. A pattern in your chart is a prompt for a conversation, not an answer.

If a side effect is severe or won’t go away, contact your prescriber or pharmacist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Questions

Short answers about logging side effects.

Which side effects can I log?

Tiredness, nausea, headache, constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, heartburn, dizziness and feeling cold, or none. You also record how you feel and your appetite. Each shot can record a reaction at the injection site.

Will Pip tell me if a side effect is normal?

No. Pip records your side effects but doesn’t diagnose them or say your treatment caused them. Ask Pip can explain general information about side effects. For anything that worries you, speak to your prescriber or pharmacist.

Can I write a note with my check-in?

Not on the daily check-in. It records how you feel, your appetite and your symptoms. Each shot entry has room for an optional note.
